Elian Huesca is originally from Puebla Mexico and since 2013 a resident of Mexico City. He studied a Bachelor in Administration in International Relationships in the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla with academic exchanges to Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and the University of Birmingham. Recently, he finished a Master in Administration in Migration, Superdiversity and Policy under the supervision of Nando Sigona. His research interests range from global migration, urban mobility design, drug policy reform, sociology of technology and more recently Bitcoin, blockchain and cryptocurrencies.
